The Oak tree is among the most precious and sought after wood species in our Western hemisphere. With more than 400 kinds of oaks out there, the Common or English Oak and the Sessile or Cornish Oak are the most popular in Germany, France and the surrounding countries.

Oak timber is used for many purposes. The enormous durability and dexterity of the tree as well as the beautiful colors have made in one of the most popular and most expensive among domestic tree species. It’s commonly used for furniture, veneering, flooring, cladding, oak barrels for wines, bridge piers and many others.
