Ideally you obtained a degree or diploma in Forestry, with a few years of practical experience in the timber trade business or other related branches such as forest- and wood technology. We are particularly interested in applicants with market experience and skillsets, including an existing network of contacts in the market. Adequate English- and/or French skills are required.
You are most likely open minded and outgoing, with a love and willingness to travel, you have excellent negotiation- and calculation skills and you value self-responsibility, you consider yourself as target oriented and assertive, then we are looking forward to your application. We are looking for qualified students who want to do an internship in a modern and highly specialized timber trading company during their studies. Our interns will find a place in which they can learn and grow personally and professionally in a professional and team- oriented environment. The position will be guided by a supervisor, who will give important insight into Hiram operations as well as the French and German wood market, which will be an essential part of an intern.
